Our next production...

Private Lives
Noël Coward

18 - 25 January 2025

Ex-lovers Amanda Prynne and Elyot Chase find themselves, to their horror, honeymooning with their new spouses at the same hotel in France. Old resentments quickly fan the fires of an old flame where they decide to elope to Amanda’s flat in Paris, only to resume the vicious quarelling that drove them apart in the first place.

Caught in the path are their current spouses, a bubbly blonde bride names Sybil and an aging old louse named Victor who do their best to hold their own, against Amanda and Elyot’s inescapable squabbles.

Private Lives demonstrates all the quick wit audiences have come to expect from Noël Coward’s timeless work, while parodying sex, marriage and monogamy in a particularly savage light.

What our audiences say...

I was impressed by this group of actors with daytime jobs and limited rehearsal times succeeding in putting on a professional standard production worthy of many deserved awards
